Hello delegates! Welcome to the CRC blog! Thanks for checking us out. We will be updating at least once a week on interesting multimedia and other Internet sources that will help you on your position paper research.

This 1 minute clip shows mixed reactions from youth on the new tobacco laws on smoking in parks in New York City.

One interesting thing I noticed were two opposing comments about air and public spaces.
A student in favor of the ban said "Everyone will be free to breathe clean air," while an opposer said, "It's an infringement on our rights. This is open air."

Hey there delegates,

While you are conducting research for your country's position papers, you will probably be drowning in a sea of news articles, UN resolutions and publications, national data reports, etc. Soon, all of the dates and statistics (huge amounts of money, people!) and foreign-sounding regions blur across the page, and it can become hard to realize that these two issues are indeed, very real, and are a huge part of people's lives across the world, and even right next to us.
