While you are conducting research for your country's position papers, you will probably be drowning in a sea of news articles, UN resolutions and publications, national data reports, etc. Soon, all of the dates and statistics (huge amounts of money, people!) and foreign-sounding regions blur across the page, and it can become hard to realize that these two issues are indeed, very real, and are a huge part of people's lives across the world, and even right next to us.
This documentary clip shares personal accounts from coca growers in Bolivia. It's very different discovering how they view their jobs from their own perspectives, in contrast to reading about it. How does drug farming restrain human development on an individual, local, national and global level?
