New to RHSMUN?

Hello! And Welcome to Regional High School Model United Nations, also known as RHSMUN. The RHSMUN conference, which was hosted in Salt Lake City, Utah for 14 years, will hold its first San Francisco, California based conference this December.  RHSMUN is one of three International Model United Nations Association (IMUNA) Conferences.  Our motto is Education through Simulation; our goal is to provide high school students from all over the country and soon internationally with an exceptional United Nations simulation. RHSMUN serves as a forum for students to explore innovative concepts in global issues and diplomacy as they prepare for leadership positions on the global stage.

Our high quality, competitive, all-volunteer staff comes from several of the top universities across the United States. They work throughout the entire year to ensure delegates have a memorable experience at conference. All of our staff members are veteran MUN participants who go through extensive training in parliamentary procedure and topic areas for committees in order adequately prepared for December. Midway through the year our committee directors produce background guides, which delegates will use to prepare for conference. Each background guide is independently researched and written over the course of 7 months in an effort to make our conference a world-class MUN conference.

We tier our committees from beginner to advanced, giving any delegate a MUN experience that is both educational and fulfilling. What is more, as delegates improve their diplomatic skills throughout their experience in MUN, RHSMUN offers them the opportunity to move up through committees each year. Ultimately our conference provides a challenging, safe, and fun educational environment for students of any skill level.
