The Kingdom of Spain, more informally known as Spain is found on the Iberian Peninsula. It is bordered by both the Atlantic Ocean and Mediterranean Sea, as well as Gibraltar, France and Andorra. Spain’s territory is also comprised of the Balearic Islands in the Mediterranean, the Canary Islands in the Atlantic Ocean, three exclaves in North Africa, Ceuta, Melilla, and Peñón de Vélez de la Gomera that borders Morocco, and the islands and peñones (rocks) of Alborán, Chafarinas, Alhucemas, and Perejil. This territory is ruled under a constitutional monarch: Felipe VI, and a Prime Minister: Mariano Rajoy. It has an area of 504,645 km squared, making it the fifth largest country in Europe.
