Committee Overview

Crisis committees at NHSMUN are designed to challenge delegates in ways that simulate real-world decision-making processes in critical international organizations. These committees often involve unexpected and evolving situations, requiring delegates to think creatively, act decisively, and respond flexibly to new developments. The focus is on understanding how the simulated body would react to crises, offering delegates the opportunity to learn about the operational structures of international organizations, as well as develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills. In these committees, delegates are not just required to know their role and the topic at hand, but must also engage in strategic planning and adapt to rapidly changing circumstances, much like decision-makers in actual international crises. We will announce the bodies being simulated in the summer of 2025.
